Vallarta`s Mexican Restaurant in Odessa

The food was an acceptable flavor, which earns it 2 stars.I came with a party of nearly 10 so we got several dishes. Around half were correct.Orders were delivered to half our party around 10 minutes before others got theirs. The margaritas were like water. An entire pitcher was barely enough to get one person tipsy.Would not recommend.

It is our first time eating here ar Vallartas. As mexicans, we definately dont like all the mexican food we tried in Tampa Bay.We love some restaurants from friends of us, but unfortunately the restaurants are faraway from this area. The Vallartas have many good options, the quality of the food is very good and the flavor so tasty.The server that took the order to go was so polite, easygoing and with excellent service.We definately coming back! 👌🏻

Understaffed.. our waiter Oliver was running his tail off. Many people at the bar area but only 2 behind the bar. Our waiter was fixing our drinks. Also our food order was taken to another table (not by our waiter) who had already eaten theirs. They table still took the food (why not.. free food!). When ours finally came out.. it was cold.. my taco had very little lettuce on it 😐 this place is usually pretty good.. not tonight.. off their game. We will return though, to give them a 3rd try.

I really liked the Tamales! Went back again for more tamales and $1 tacos on Tuesdays! Food was great! 2 for 1 margaritas during happy hour too!

Burrito is really good. Best I had in a long time. Small bar there also. Very friendly staff. Fun little stop.

I lived the Mexican chicken soup. My lady had enchiladas Supreme. Both deposits. Avoid the guacamole salad. I saw a huge shrimp cocktail go by. The margaritas were yummy and a lot in the small pitcher.

We went for lunch...for out for less than twent five bucks worth a five dollar tip and we had two custom made plates! It was awesome!!! And the service was great!!!!

So with half capacity, you'd think food would fly out...incorrect assumption We waited over an hour and a half for cold, greasy, disgusting food and missing items!This was definitely the worst service I've ever experienced. I don't now, nor will I ever recommend this restaurant!!Save yourself, because apparently I am not the only one reviewing in this negative manner.

We stopped in on a whim just passing through on state road 54 and we were craving some good Mexican food so we googled local places nearby. Holy Wow did this place deliver! The salsa was amazing and our meals were ready fast and were delicious. What a treat. The place was so clean as well. I know this is weird but the women’s bathroom was really pretty and clean as well! It was a great pit stop for us for some great food at a really good price. Thanks and when we drive back through on trips this is going to be a new must-stop place!!!

Great atmosphere, always busy and great food! Out of all the locations I have found that this has the best customer service and the best food. They need to add on and create a outdoor ( screened of course ) seating area for those months and nites where the temps are comfortable.

I am super predictable with Mexican food. Cheese dip with hot flour tortillas, freshly made gaucamole, and fajita chicken with cheese on everything. Vallarta's is consistent at this location in Trinity, but I have not seen the same consistency across the other Vallarta's. So, u would rather drive to this one and know I am going to get good service and food than go to the one closer to my house and gamble with the experience. I am serious about my Mexican!

Fun place food good

Excellent food and service.. you..u can usually tell a place is good when parking light is full. There are many good choices within a 3 mile radius and this place is always packed.

This place is hit or miss. We went for my daughter's birthday and it was hot out. There was no air. I understand that was not directly their fault, but if you are keeping your restaurant open get your fans working. Comp a cold beverage.

Very good food. Clean establishment. Servers friendly but service a bit slow. Prices comparable. Closer to 4.5 stars instead of 4.

We've been to all of the Vallarta's location and their San Jose location in LOL. This is the biggest and airiest (great for those who are stressed out about Covid) by far, a departure from their usual cozy Mexican style. The staff were friendly, the food did not disappoint.

This was probably the worst Mexican food I’ve had. The food was bland, not authentic, and most of the food at the table was cold. The food was just disappointing all around. I did really enjoy the atmosphere though. Very nice decor inside. Our server was also very nice.

The food wasn't bad. I've just had way better. I come from Connecticut so the bar is set really high. I'd go again and try something different. The Mango Margarita's were delicious.

I would have liked if employees wore masks until the virus situation ends. Needed little more light. Good food.

Very affordable. $1 tacos on Tuesdays are very good. Staff are the best!

Yuck!! Outside is a mess. No greeting upon entering. Service was slow, food was blah. Margarita was watery, chips with salsa weren't even warmed. Priced high for what you get. Would not recommend this place. Very disappointed.

Great place, great portions. Very nice place. It even just smells clean. Our waiter was excellent. Will be back.

This was a comfy restaurant and was decorated festively. I enjoyed the chips and salsa and guac. I ordered the enchilada plate and was underwhelmed by the ground beef- it lacked flavor, but the bean and cheese enchiladas were great and the chicken wasn't bad either. Everything was fresh and it was very well priced. We'll probably go back.

Food was good, but there is a difference when you order ground beef instead of shredded beef! Also when you ask for just ground beef cheese and jalapenos shouldn't that be all you get? Not onions and other stuff?

Good atmosphere. Place was packed by the time we left. Drinks were on point. Food was decent. Wait staff was incredibly friendly.

It was so bad that after we ordered, it was at least 30 minutes before our food arrived. They never brought my food out. My brother in laws neal was correct, my husband's meal was wrong, and my sisters meal was not even hot. It was not the waiters fault. It was the cook's fault. Don't know if and when I will be back ti the restaurant.

First time there and it was great! Went at 4:00pm and not busy at all. Mexican decor nice, food was great ( my compliments to the cook) plenty of item to choose from. Lot of food at a reasonable price. Definitely will be returning. Thanks to our server who was pleasant, patient and helpful.

I like the location and the building is really fun. Food is awful. No flavor, but it was hot, there was a lot, the prices were good, but the food was mundane at best. I stumbled in for a late lunch on my way to a meeting. No one greeted me. I ordered unsweet tea and was served sweet tea, which is a such a huge NO with me! I can't even tell ya. Wish it was better food. How can you make Mexican food bland? Whitish-pink beans? What? Won't be back.

Probably the cleanest Vallarta's I've been to. Love the food, service and pitchers of margarita! Good prices as well. Super cool servers. Evalyn is always so amazing!!

Usually when we eat here its great the staff gets orders correct but today 02-26-2020 they totally failed i asked for chicken tacos got beef but since i was on a short lunch time i just ate them. So when i went to cash out i spoke with my server and told him the issue he had nothing to say. I did notice when we all ordered he did not write it down. He also mixed up drinks at our table one guy had lemon and one guy didnt but both had tea well when he came back they were switched. Normally its an awesome place with great food today i am very disappointed. I will however go back so there my visit for today. Hope this does not change your mind please try for your self.

AC did not seem to be working when we went this week. My steak was overcooked and bland, but others at my table enjoyed their meals.

I just love this place. The food is the best authentic Mexican in Pasco County. Been coming to this location since it opened the quality has remained the same and the prices have not gone up. They have other branches and they follow the same method of cooking and care.

First timers. We got there at 11:58am on Tuesday May 1, 2018 and were promptly seated by Alex. Immediately served chips and dip with drink orders. The entrées arrived promptly and hot right out of the kitchen. I ordered the Burritos De Luxe (Two burritos, one chicken and beans, one beef and bean, topped w/lettuce, tomato, salsa & sour cream). My wife ordered the Vegetarian Quesadilla. Everything was delicious. Alex was attentive but not overbearing. We ordered fried ice cream and that too was delicious. Very nice dining experience.

The food was delicious, however, our waiter did not come to check on us if we wanted anything else and the 20 % gratuity was already included.

This place is awesome! The food is very good and inexpensive. The mariachis are a nice touch; just be prepared to tip them accordingly.Can't wait to share this with more family!

This was my first visit. Service and food was ok. Nothing special. Really noisy. Hard to have a conversation without shouting. This would be great place to eat if you really don't enjoy your companion's company. 🙂
